About our talented demonstrators:

Asheville artist Ann Vasilik is known for her urban scenes and enjoys demonstrating her techniques. She has completed many paintings in under an hour for various fund raising events and looks forward to the challenge in September for the WSNC.
Al Junek of Hendersonville, NC began painting in 1989, increasingly drawn to landscapes that are often set in mist, fog or other atmospheric effects. He is a member of the Art League of Henderson County, the Appalachian Pastel Society, and a signature member of the Louisiana Watercolor Society and the WSNC.
Members of the Watercolor Society of North Carolina had a wonderful time painting, wine-tasting, and picnicking at the Grandfather Vineyard in Boone on Monday. We hope to do it again next year!
